Enjoy guys. People on here have been askin' what does the K&N system do for you on the Vue. Well. Here you go. It took over.45 seconds of my 1/4 mile time and over .4 seconds off my 0-60. I have seen MPG improvements of 1-3 MPG. Best 240 bucks spent. It's almost faster then my IROC! Sounds sick too!

Pretty impressive runs there! Man, I have front wheel drive though. So going with the K&N setup, I'll definitely have more power and torque to deal with. But the inherent torque understeer upfront will be even more amplified as a result. I can currently feel the slight front-end tug whenever I go full and open throttle. So, I'm extra careful whenever I go full-bore, ha ha. So, too bad I don't have AWD. And too bad I live in CAL also, as the K&N intake system is currently not street legal, given CAL's strictest emission laws and environmental restrictions in the U.S. I'm pretty content with my stock Vue, as is though. That Honda 3.5l Vtech V6powerplant is an amazing engine. Makes our so-called compact SUV easily more mid-sized in overall performance! It certainly has more than sufficient passing and get up and go power when circumstances dictate. Okay, congrats on your setup again and enjoy! You truly have one HOT Vue. BEST REGARDS ... When I was buying it I was thinking about the FWD/AWD decision. But I knew if I'd be taking it to the track AWD, although heaver would give me a perfect launch and cut down on the torque steer. Not to mention it dose wonders for the Chicago snow storms we have. That suck that Cail is so strict about emissions. All and all I'm glad I got the AWD. Not every SUV can keep up with Z-28s and beat some mustangs. Thanks for the comments!

Nice video overall. I personally would have preferred NO music so you can just concentrate on the sweet sound of the engine.
While I DO agree that the VUE is fast for a V6 SUV. In my opinion that Z28 smoked you, but I do give you credit for running against it anyways Next time try a run doing the shift technique that Burnout posted a while back.... makes a HUGE top end difference: -Launch hard in L then immediately shift to I (it will shift at 5500 instead of 5000) -Then put it back into L (2nd gear) and run it up to 6300 (not redline, because there is a slight shift delay, if you wait too long then you'll bounce the rev limiter) then shift to I it will hit 6500 then drop right in the sweet spot of the rpm range for 3rd gear then shift to D for 4th and 5th gear. Hope this helps some. Happy motoring! ... 2007 Silver Nickel VUE RL - Fujita Cold Air Intake, Hankook Ventus V4 es tires 245/50R18

O, ok I got ya. I'll try that next time thanks!Ac/Dc if my fav. band so I can't help it. It gets my friends anoyed too.
Yeah I know he smoked me, it belongs to my friend who came along to see what the CAI could do. I said, why the hell not line them up, right? Damn those LS1's don't stop pulling! What I said earlier was pertaining to an LT1 Z28 I raced a wile back. And I don't even waste the gas on Windsor 302/351's or V6's. LOL... HEY EVERYBODY! ...Just listened to that video ,very nice, my K&N seems alot louder than that ,for some reason, it howls an awful lot when you romp on it ,even from the interior, so much so ,that I've seen people having that what the he!! was that, look on their faces, just my 2 cents, DC

How was this 11.77 hp calculated?

Don't know how much stock I'd actually put in that.
And where are you getting 263.77 hp? The V6 is rated at 250 hp at the crank. At the wheels, you're looking at something closer to the high 190's. Either way, last time I checked 250 + 11.77 doesn't equal 263.77. ... 2004 VUE 2003 Mazda Protégé ES 1992 SC - former autox/track car (sold)

Relax there cheif. I'm not getting cocky, I was just curious. You supplied numbers and I questioned where they came from. When someone posts an HP number with 2 significant figures, I tend to think they have good reason to do so.
And FYI, it's poor form to say your car makes x amount of power without an actual dyno sheet to back it up. And 2 "identical" cars with the same mods won't necessarily make the same power. For starters, not all Honda V6 VUEs will have 250 hp at the crank. Some will make more, some will make less (if the 250 number is even correct- it could be over or underinflated purposely by the manufactuer). Guess you have to change your screen name now since you don't have a stock Saturn anymore. ... 2004 VUE 2003 Mazda Protégé ES 1992 SC - former autox/track car (sold)

At the track my vue never spun the front tires. If I had AWD, it would have never engaged. Even on the street I had trouble chirping them unless there was sand on the road. (with the 16" rims AND 20" rims)
