replacing thermostat in 2000 SL2
Hello all,
I am looking to replace my thermostat in my 2000 SL2 probably this weekend and I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how much it will cost and how hard of a fix is it? My dad is a good mechanic and he will probably be doing it but I was just curious. We have already replaced the ECTS a few months ago. Thanks!

If your dad does it, it should only cost you whatever the price of the thermostat is (and replacing the coolant if you choose to do so - not a bad time to do it). Mine was an aftermarket and only cost about $20. The one at the dealer is a bit more expensive.
