Yeah, but they also announced their best overall car for 2008 as the Scion Xb, so I don't know if they can be trusted.

Regardless, the Outlook is definitely the best crossover for me!

They actually named the whole Lambda family the best crossovers, just not the Outlook alone.

That said, it was one good decision. Otherwise? As said on other boards and blogs...they again made some bizarre choices for the rest of the awards.

My joy here is for Saturn Retailers that, GM keeps provoding them with good, highly competive products with which they may do battle with all of the evil Asian empire who seek to destroy our pets, our kids, our lovers [ through our valentine candy] even the arch-evil, MING THE MERCILESS wouldn't have gone that far.

Personally i shun gas guzzlers and prefer to rent a U haul truck should i need to move large items. In my view, this sort of vehicle is not a Saturn.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a gas guzzler. The Outlook gets the best fuel economy of any 8 passenger vehicle, and so far our mileage is not too far off from our L300 and Vue. I was afraid that we'd be getting mid-teens around town, but instead have seen closer to 20 mpg. I'm anxious to see how it does on our next road trip. I'll have a better idea of the real-world MPGs once we put a little more mileage on the vehicle.

Regarding whether or not the Outlook is a Saturn... it is. I just double-checked and that familiar little red and silver logo is on front grille. On a serious note though, I am glad that Saturn has expanded its product line beyond its small car roots. Honda and Toyota did, I'm glad Saturn followed suit. We would've had to have purchased another make if the Outlook hadn't been around.

I'm just glad that after all these years, Saturn is finally coming out with decent looking cars. Before the Sky and the Outlook, I always thought most Saturns had a...unique look to them, very ungainly and disconnected in my opinion. Ok for all who purchased them, obviously, but really not to my taste. I think their new designs are some of the best around now, what a great turnaround!
