Things haven't changed much this week on the front page of SaturnFans.com, but the slowdown has been for a good reason. My wife and I took delivery of a new 2008 Saturn Outlook last night! I'll have all the details, including photos and the full story, posted later this weekend.

Sorry Charlie, you should have spent more time selecting options. the continental spare tire kit is a knock out adding nearly 3 feet in length, the rear fender skirt kit gives a longer lower look, available in body colour or dazzeling chrome. numerous hood ornaments in solid chrome or gold plated or with various lighting options are pure class. Can't wait to see it.

Congrats, Charlie.

Based on well over 100 responses per year from owners of the 2007 and 2008 Lambdas, the 2008 appears to have about half the repair rate of the first year, and to match up well with competing SUVs on this basis. Thanks for helping to make this info possible!

Do you and the wife have 3-4 kids to fill up that Outlook?

Congratulations....... I just got my wife an "orange" VUE...... I would have preferred an Outlook (of course ,but the VUE XR lease will come in about $150 below an Outlook XE for me. Of course I think I'm getting the same fuel economy in my VUE

2008 Outlook XR
2005 VUE Red Line
Happy Re: Uncovering Our New Outlook

Thanks, everyone! We're loving our Outlook!! So smooth, quiet, roomy, and comfortable. We've already gotten a few second looks from passersby. It reminds me of when we first got the Vue Red Line a few years ago. The pearl white is beautiful!

Yes - the L300 was a really good vehicle up until about 3-4 months ago when things started going wrong...

Not yet, but do two guinea pigs and a dog count?? The new Vue looks really good in orange. There was an XR like yours at the Washington Auto Show and it looked very nice.

I didn't notice those options. I think they're exclusive to the Buick.

Yes, no, yes, yes, yes.

I posted my story earlier tonight so you can read more about our search and vehicle delivery.

Thanks again,
Charlie

2007 Outlook XR
Default Re: Uncovering Our New Outlook

Great story Charlie. Congrats on the Outlook. We shopped the same Saturn dealer, Saturn West, in Columbus, Ohio. Good folks but I got a better deal 100 miles away for my Trailblazer trade-in. I am jealous of the white diamond. I love that color, but we were shopping for year end deals on 2007s and opted for the Cocoa, my wife's favorite (and it's her daily driver.)

Wishing you many happy and safe miles.

Kevin
