Default auto locking doors

So this has happen to me 2 times now.

I am at the gas station and someone is in the the car. So I leave the key in on AC so they can listen to the radio while i fill the tank. As soon as I get out of the car and shut the door it automatically locks all the doors?

Is this a setting with the BCM?

Leave the key in off position and the doors shouldn't lock. If your passenger can't stand to wait the 10 minutes it takes to fill up the tank without music they can turn the key to on, then back and the RAP will reset and let them fiddle with the radio.

Give me choices in powertrain, great handling and decent MPG and I will buy a Saturn again.

It just happen again the other day! I was at the airport picking up a friend and it locked me out this time.

I have been playing with it today to see what the logic is.

The car may think it is still in motion and that is why it is locking the doors. Even after it does its "thing" of locking me out once i take the key out and place it back in it will not auto lock. So fare it only does this when I shut the car of by turning it directly to the AC position with turning it all the way off. It will do this about once a week or so.

After auto locking me out, I turn the car off and back on, Then I can press the lock button with the door open and it will lock all of the doors but the drivers.
