Default switched power outlets?

hey all

does anyone know if the is an easy way to have the power outlets (in the dash and in the storage compartment under the arm rest) shut off when the car isnt running or in accessory mode?

Unfortunatly I can't think of an EASY way to do it.

Sure! Wire up a standard 87 relay or a heavy duty relay that will conduct the 10amps or so from the ACCESSORY or ON/RUN position, if you know how to wire up electrical circuits. The signal wire would come off the ignition switch to power the relay on only when the ignition is ON, closing a set of heavy duty electrical contacts that supplies fused power to the outlets. I don't have a drawing tablet to sketch a circuit quickly and it takes too long to draw in MS Paint. This type of circuit is one of the easiest to make, similar to adding fog lights.
