Default Lil' Muscle sittin on 20s (255/40/20)

Hey Guys so I finally took pics...she looks great.

I went with Verde 5ive chrome rims ($214) and Yokohama Paradas ($139) from performanceplustire.com. I must say that these tires are th best I've ever had, (can't speak to wear yet). I went with 255/40/20 instead of 245/45/20 because I want just a little more meat on the tires for NYC potholes (28.1 vs. 27.6).

These wheels are light (28lbs) so you won't notice a difference in pick-up of fuel economy...I'm really happy with the look of my VUE but you guys judge for yourself.

I couldn's upload for whatever reason so you'll have to go to my album...

Looks nice, biut now the rotor looks lost. Maybe you can upgrade your braking system like Fotovue and Spazie did and fill out the opening and add some braking performance.

That extra inch does add a lot to the handling of the VUE. Has anyone gone larger than 255mm?

That rim definitely goes great with the styling of the 06/07 VRL I think.

Nice choice!

And now the inevitable...

Slam it!

Hey guys thanks...I'll think about the rotors, warranty issues? I but extra maintenance coverage so I'm not responsible for brakes - I think if I get rotors taht coverage is voided. What product do you suggest? Where can I find and whats the price range?

No slamming, no way...not in NYC.

Thanks for the suggestion guys

Before I clicked on your album I wanted to immediately hate it. But you know, it actually looks pretty good. I'm not too big of a fan of the chrome though.

Hey i'm a chrome fan! That's what i got myself! Those rims and tires look sharp on that black RL. Yeah i agree, nice choice. Chrome 5-spoke type wheels look great whether it's the dubs on ur whip or the 18" Casinos on my non-RL Binkymobile. i dun blame u for not wanting to slam her in NYC........

as far as brakes are concerned check out Saturn Motorsports, they offer a 4-wheel disc brake kit for the Vue.......it's expensive but to me would be worth it since the Vue's brakes especially the fronts are notorious for being inadequate and the rotors sometimes warp.

Yeah actually I didn't want chrome at first I'd been waiting on the KV5 Sport Editions from Tirerack but theie arrival date changed from 10/15 to 11/15 so I just started looking elsewhere in frustration. I think the simple design of these keeps them from looking stupid.

as far as the brakes good piece of info...mine actually warped with stock ones on, in fact I took them to the dealer to get resurfaced (free of charge) the day after my rims arrived. The kit is expensive...I'll be doing my research, thanks!
