Seriously, find another place to go as long as this jacktard is working behind the counter.

Oh, and if you do return to that dealership tell the service manager I just rolled passed 212,000 miles on my Saturn LS1 and that I said, "SUCK IT!" to his "Saturns are crap" theory.

I'd also find out who his boss is within the dealership and go to them (the owner if you have to) and tell them his employee is badmouthing a customer's car .

I'm betting when he catches wind of that you won't be seeing the service manager anymore upon your next visit because he'll be in the unemployment line - where given his attitude toward customer's vehicles he deserves to be.
amen to that! lol 173k on my 00ls1

Just to update: Currently at 167K on my '01 L-200 Manual. Only issues so far have been a fuel pump and currently an A/C compressor that needs replaced (clutch won't engage). Hoping to find a used one cheap, since a new one is about $400.

Will hit 222,000 miles by this Friday on my 2000 LS1.

Since timing chain was redone back in April of 2010 (no bent valves, chain basically wore out) have only had to replace the battery.

Mobile 1 10W-30 and Chevron Techron fuel additive keys to keeping a car running for a loooooooooong time.

2002 L200 with only 75,000 miles on it. Currently working on the famous electrical issues we all share. Auto Door Llocks, Remotes quit, Dash lights, etc. Probably a bad BCM, but not sure just yet.. Nothing major though so far (Knock on wood)!!!

Just picked one up with 122k. Other than crappy fuel economy (it had the original spark plugs), it seems to drive fine.

Just reached 120k on my 2002 L-200. Just made a trip from Atlanta to Orlando. Only problems I currently have is intermittent ABS firing and check engine light that was checked out to be no problem at all (system works great, they recommend PCM replacement). Drives great and got 32mpg on the trip.

I bought my 01 L200 brand new and have 204K on the car now. I have replaced the breaks once and installed a new clutch at 120k. The exhaust manifold gave out the AC does not work, the body control module gave out and now I am starting to have electrical problems. Other than that the car starts up and runs great!

2001 L 200, 218,000, no major problems, although I have a P0410 code, bought it new in May 2001, mobil 1 since new, air and fuel filters at least 2 x a year, looks good and runs strong

milage has went from 33 to 23 and coolant temp has increased....

Parts ...Try GMpartscenter.net for parts, usually cheaper than dealer.

My wife's "02 L200" just turned over 21,000 miles. Just to play it safe, I am going to upgrade the timing chain tensioner before I put it into winter storage. It looks and drives like new.

My "00 LS2" had just turned over 109,000 miles when I sold it. It had new timing belt, plugs, water pump, accessory belt, tires and struts. Ready for it's next 100K. I just purchased an "09 Aura XR V6" to replace it.

My younger brother just rolled over 164K on his "02 L200" He said it is still much more dependable than his Dodge Durango with 30,000 miles on it. He did say his air conditioning had suddenly stopped working just the other day.

2000 LS1 2.2 - Turned 414,000 today - yes, 414,000. On it's 3rd battery, 2nd alternator, 1 strut & spring. No timing belt change. A/C quit 3 years ago... Still 32 MPG. Ahhhh....

Double wow. Terrific. My 2003 LW200 is only at 129K miles. My best ever was a 1975 Opel Ascona, that I sold at 198K miles.
Let's watch for your posting when you reach 500K.

My goal is to get to 150K. I'm at 95 now. In 2002, I got a very fair deal on a used 2000 LS1 with only 12K. NOT a lease replacement. I saw the car dirty, and I could have eaten off the floor, it was that clean.

Last month I had it at the dealership and the service manager started heckling me that I'd never get 150K out of the car and I'd be back in a few months shopping. He said this was because the L series is crap and it'll by by 100K. Well that's it for me an Saturn basically...but I still thinK I can get 150 out of it.
have 2001 LW200 and have 149000 and still get 29 mpg at 70, runs like a dream and just passed emission again 2 weeks ago, keep the car.

2001 L-Series I suspect mine has around 150,000 @ 126,00 miles BCM went a lil coo coo and now it registers 694,978 typical readout I'm told for that specific problem, but they way I try to keep a record is every time change oil light comes on and I figure that its about 3000 mi. {correct me if I'm wrong} I change it .... also did a timing chain set back in the summer

2002 L 100 174,000 and heading for another winter. Just replaced the intermediate steering shaft and looking for a water leak in passenger side floor, but hope to get to 225,000 without spending too much money. Still gets 34mpg.
