Default Needed: 2005 Chevy Aveo Rear Brake Drum Nut Torque Specification

Needed: 2005 Chevy Aveo Rear Brake Drum Retaining Nut Torque Specification. The nut has a 32 mm head
and holds the brake drum to the stub axle. The rear bearing is a sealed type, therefore, this nut is not used to
set the bearing pre-load. The nut was torqued to at least 150 ft-lbs and required a lot of effort to remove it (I'm
changing the rear brake shoes).

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

The tehnical term for it is a Caulking Nut and should be tightened to 148 lb ft or 200 N-m.

And remember to apply the brake 10 times before removing the drum.
