I tried it. It was a pain, the hose wasn't long enough, and it didn't make a difference. It's just gonna suck air in through the sides, because the middle part has more resistance. At least that's what I figure.

Default A little of both worlds

At Pep Boys, they have these custom intake accessories by Spectre, including extension hoses that go down to the bottom of the car to bring in more cold air. I was thinking of replacing the aem filter with one of their cone filters because it's not closed up on the end and I could add the hose extension to it to suck in more air. Kind of like a SRI and CAI in one. I saw a picture of some of the examples at the store. What you think, has anyone tried anything similar to this ??

If it is OK to disarm law abiding citizens to reduce crime, then it stands to reason to disarm the military to prevent war!

Both. Haha. I noticed when I posted it that it went above. That was happening before, I remember.
