The clusters definitely aren't. Totally different shape.

Generally, what is interchangeable depends on what part/system. Suspension parts changed the least over the years. Body interior/exterior parts are roughly interchangeable by generation.

The '97 is second gen. Most parts will interchange from '96 to early '99. '99 was a transition year. So, later '99s may not work. What are you wanting to swap?

1997 to early 1998 clusters will swap. Later 1998 clusters had a digital odometer.

Just out of curiousity, had you seen a 1994 cluster before? What made you want that specific cluster?

A '96 cluster should work as well in your '97, AFAIK.

Oh, and whatever year you go with, the clusters are different between SOHC and DOHC cars. So a cluster from an SL, SL1, SC1 or SW1 won't work. A cluster from an SC2 or SW2 will.

If you want glow gauges, I see them all the time on eBay for second gen Saturns. Although, personally I wouldn't waste the money and hassle with putting them in. Plus some of them are a bit ricey.
