Question swapping foot pedals

Is swapping the foot pedals a pain or is it simple? I do not want to buy them and find out I have to do some crazy modification to make them work. A lot of them state that they are universal and I always leary of that statement. I have a manual trasmission if that helps.

Typically aftermarket pedals just go one the existing pedal. If your pedal has a rubber cover, it usually comes off and then the aftermarket ones go on. Very few pedals actually replace the entire pedal.

Default Momo

Momo makes decent after market pedal covers. The ones I saw didn't require any "drilling" (which seems kinda scary).

but....they were like 69.00.

Happy

the pedals that i have i got from pepboys for $20. they look like razo pedals. they cover the normal pedals and attach with clips and screws. depending on how the one for the accelerator is attached you may or may not have to modify it to work. the saturn accelerator pedal has a lump under it that's in the way of the clips that some pedals use. another thing to watch out for is the length of the screws supplied. you may or my not need to cut them down so they don't dig into the carpet.

I have some brushed aluminum pedal covers from Nokya. They look really good and just clipped on; no modification to the original pedals. Installed them in less then 5 minutes.
I think they were $30 shipped, but I can't remember the site. Performance auto parts...or something like that.
