Default Outlook comes home tomorrow

Jake Sweeney of Cincinnati "GM certified service center for Saturn's" found where the leak was on my Outlook. He said they had repaired "several" leaks like the one on my Outlook. They ordered the part, drain hose, yesterday and installed it today. They also have the Outlook over having the headliner cleaned and won't be ready until the end of the day.

So I will give them another call tomorrow morning and hopefully drive back down to pick it up AND turn in the rental HHR.

I wonder just where in the "heck" the service department for Saturn of Kings AutoMall were looking? Or of they even DID look? Sure wasted two trips and my time for nothing.

NOW here is the fun part. It is suppose to rain rather heavy this weekend soooo you can bet I will be checking the Outlook for a leak again.

You know I read a lot about sunroof leaks on the Outlook. YET we had it for 2 years and it will be 4 months tomorrow and no leaks until three weeks ago!

They said that some how the "hose" became torn.....wonder if there are gobblins running around in the ceiling of my Outlook?

It wouldn't suprise me if the original dealer did do the work, but when they put the hoses back up they twisted them, or just shoved them wherever they would fit. I didn't go into this much detail but that is what they did on the last fix on my Outlook, shoved them wherever, created rises in the hoses so the water wouldn't flow down the drain, etc..

Glad the other found the problem and fixed it for you. It is possible you went for 2 years because the hoses just never came apart, which is what the original problem was.

Leaks came back and the Outlook is back as of this afternoon at Jake Sweeney in hopes that SOMEONE will find where this darn leak is coming from.

This is the "fourth" trip to Cincinnati for the same damn leak.
