Default I hate spring cleanup time!!

Every time they have some kind of big garbage pick up in my area, I always get something in one of my tires. Well...Its that time of the year again.

I was able to pull it out, but it still sucks because it all happened at like 9:30 at night.

Yeah, definately new tire time. Thats a rear tire. Probably alignment time too. The tires DID have evenly worn tread when they were rotated back there, now the insides are gone. What could cause this in the rear??

Hi, my first impression was that the tire looked pretty worn to begin with, but the second pic shows some decent tread. Since the object (spike) is in the tread the tire can be plugged. You can pick up a plug kit for $5.00 and the tire doesn't need to be broken down thus no need to rebalance. That's what I'd do. I carry one in the car along with a small air pump...easier than changing a tire. Do not remove the object until you get the plugs and have a air source. Best of luck. TC

Except for the fact that you just added a fairly significant amount of weight as far away from the center of rotation as possible therefore amplifying the effect of the weight on the balance of the wheel.

Either too much negative camber or too much toe out. My bet is on the camber though unless you've noticed a tendancy to spin out while cornering hard.
