Default Rear Window Washer

We have been the proud owner of the 03 Vue since Jan of last year. Currenlty 24k and counting with few problems. I have nothing but praise for the Saturn Vue... However, the rear window washer is terrible. There is no dispersment of the water, it all just runs down the window. Is this normal or do I need to get it repaired???

That's how it is designed (Unfortunately....). It's pretty bad, I know!

I would suggest a rear deflector which helps keep the window clean. It's an easy install yourself and you can get at saturnaccessories.com. I rarely use my rear washer

I think that is by design. If it was a mist or spray instead of a stream, the fluid would miss the window altogether when you're going fast.

Yes, this was by design from what I hear. The idea was that if it sprayed from the nozzle, it would just mist the cars behind you and not get the window because of the air disturbance. I just kinda push the tab a bit as the wiper moves through it's path so that it grabs as much fluid as possible instead of letting it drip down as the wiper is on one side or the other... Works for me.

Mine does a good job actually. Sprays a mist. Does the job! I would have them look at it. Still under warranty! :')

No, they are supposed to spray a stream. If yours mists, you have the wrong nozzle installed.
