Default ECT sensor with resin tip

Where can I get one??? I dont want that brass replacement. Im conducting a test here and need one.

What kind of test? Maybe we can help you with an alternative. The other thought is to look for an IAT sensor in a JY. I'm guessing those were also plastic originally, and few have been changed or damaged from cracking/water.

This Delphi one looks like its made of something other than brass P/N: TS10193

Intake air temp sensors in the air snorkel are the plastic resin tipped units, Those dont go bad because there not exposed to 200 degree coolant for years.

I have a spare IAT sensor, is that the same as ECT?

Local JY ECT sensor were all replaced by brass tip units already...

ECTS (2-wire/lower for '91-'95), IATS and TTS (automatic trans only) are the same (interchangeable) part. Easiest to get to that's nearly guaranteed to be resin is the IATS as mentioned.

The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a 5spd O:)
