96 Sw cruise
On Friday got my SW1 to SW 2 convert back. I put in the PCM from from a 96 SL2. everything runs great except...
My cruise works fine at the start but some 40-60 miles in the cruise disengages. It will reengage for 1/2 mile then disengage. If I turn the engine off it will work fine for another 50 or so miles.
I have replaced the steering wheel pod, the cruise module, even the clock spring all from a daily driver in good working condition.
I am offically out of ideas. What can I try next.

Re: 96 Sw cruise
Brake switch. There is a section of the brake switch that removes 12v from the cruise enable line and this will drop it out. About the only way to verify this is to monitor the 12v line with a LED test light that will go out with loss of 12v. Replacing the switch is slightly expensive and a bit of a physical challenge as the dash structure is built on top of that switch.
