Mine too...

That is the way it works. No fan pattern. The wiper should smear it around. That is the way all my other GM trucks over the years have worked too.

Much more funny to aim the jet at the car behind you.

I had a Ford van once that the front jets were on the arm of the wiper, they would spray the car in the next lane over and not the windshield. It was real funny until a gave a big grumpy guy in a Vette a wash once at a stop light. He got out of his Vette and wanted to chat. Thank God the light change to green, I just left him standin'.

Question

I noticed that too. The front ones spray a nice mist over most of the windshield.

Yep, The waterfall on the back can be annoying, but I've managed to work it so I hit the stream at different points of the wiper path so the wash gets carried on the blade. Sure its a little work, but most of the time the person in the car behind me is ugly, so I don't wanna look at them

They can't mist the rear sprayer or it wouldn't hit the glass as you were moving... it would just fly out as the air blows behind the car. Some automakers have solved this (Chrysler Minivans) by putting the sprayer on the wiper arm.
