Default Tach jumps

Hi Guys
I am new to the site My tach vibartes after I turn off the engine do have any clue what is going on there.

does it jump up and down then if so it sounds like short in you instrament cluster

It kinda just chatters for abount 15 second after the keys is turned off

so it flickers, that sounds like its still getting power in that tach wire, you might want to take the clyster out and check all your wires and see if any of them are touching another wire or something.

If this is what it's doing;
This is a 99 SC1 and when the ignition is first turned on or off the speedometer needle , being on zero miles per hour , will oscillate/vibrate on the 0 miles per hour part of the speedometer for about 5 seconds then quit.

Then this is the answer;
This action is normal for the 99 year. My wagon, purchased new has done this from day 1. I questioned Saturn back in 99 on this. Jitter lasts for 5 seconds. I replied to this problem over at Saturnfans as other 99 owners have the same issue.

BTW what car do you have?
