Waiting on some pics from my buddy, I'll post them as soon as I get them.

Truck/SUV/Xover - SUV/Crossover - Chevy/GM/Cad/Olds/Pont/Sat - Custom

was my class at the show.

So at least some pimped out HHR's that i'm sure where there and I imagine a bunch of other stuff. Aesthetics finally got me an award.

Nice. That means that 2 Vues took both Small/Mid Size SUV GM Classes. I saw yours at the show it looked nice

I was the one who won the Street Class. Mine was the RL Vue under the black 10x15 Tent.

Congrats on the win. Well deserved

Hey, Binky, what wheels are those? Are they American Casinos? I wish the running boards weren't so damned expensive. I have a practical use for them up here where the snow flies!

Yes sir, American Racing Casinos. They're 18x8 and the tires i use are 235/60-18 Michelins, a little oversized (about 1 inch or so) but i got them that way so they'll fill the wheelwell more. Yes, the running boards are expensive, around $750, (less installation-i installed 'em!) but they change the Vue's look dramatically, are practical (i at 230 lbs can stand on them to wash/dry/wax my roof) and yes they keep spray and sandblasting down. i could only imagine ur use for them when the snow flies! We don't have much of any snow here so i wouldn't know what to do if more than a couple of inches fell and accumulated........

....And awesome Vue Tek.....that black is so deep and gorgeous. The black-on black look is tight.....but i bet it's a pain to keep it looking that way (not to mention HOT in FL!)

If it's anything like it is down here in Palm harbor you get constant construction dust storms. Would have to wash it twice a day, haha.

Ha, NOPI actually has a class that is friendly to vues!

Wish I went, arrrgh!

Usually when I go to shows with my vue I have to deal with being thrown in the "Truck/SUV" category, or the entire General Motors category.

Congratulations on the award!

Well it is still a pretty general class even at Nopi since it has all GM mini-mid sized SUVs and Vans.

Unless you go to a truck type show most of the times it is a really general class.

Since I never posted up any pics of my Saturn from the Nopi show here was my crap. I wish I had gotten pics of the only other Vue I remember seeing at the show other than Tek's and my own. It had 22s on it. Either way here is mine

And another just because I really like this pic. This one was taken on the way back from ITB (Import & Truck Bash in Indianapolis).

TeK & Binky, Your Vue's look great!!

We just picked up a new '07 and I'm out looking for dress up ideas...
If you don't mind, I'd like to email a copy of your pics (one each) to my better half to see what she thinks.

Say Binky, quick question too, did you order your Vue with the rear Air Spoiler, or did you get it separately? I'm interested in the running boards too, but $750 is a lot for dress up... still we drive thru a of snow up here in Wisc. so they'd still be a worthwhile investment.

& TeK... Congrats on the Win!!
