Default should i be concerned (leak)

been finding spots in the driveway under my car
The culprit:
Left side for reference:

Right side of the diff:

Now that last one is obviously red fluid, havent checked the ground to see what color but the first picture it seems like that bearing is out a little far

Looks like both of your output shaft seals are leaking. The right one is pretty bad. The left one isn't too bad, but I'd replace it anyways while you're at it. There are no bearings there - just the seals. You'll want to get that fixed ASAP. It won't leave you stranded or do any damage as long as you keep the fluid level up, BUT there is no dipstick to easily check the fluid level with the 4T40E transmission you have. The level is checked by removing the transmission fluid fill plug and adding more fluid until it starts coming out.

I agree with Ruley. I just replaced one of my seals when I accidentally scuffed one while replacing my CV axles.

I highly recommend you get the plastic install sleeve (part # 44-394) to protect the new seals as you reinstall the CV axles. You can get one of these reasonably on ebay.

Removing the driver side is a PITA, so you don't want to be doing this job twice. Definitely get the install sleeve.
