Default New addition to the family

I just recently added a new member to the family. She is identical to my other SL1 with the exception of a black interior.

She is a cream puff. If all previous owners would take care of their cars like they did, the boneyards would be a lot smaller and their would be less new car sales. There are a little over 200K miles on her and she is as tight as a drum! There is only one small squeak in the dash, otherwise it is as quiet as a tomb. The previous owners did not like noise I guess since there are little pieces of felt placed intermittently throughout the cabin so plastic pieces do not rub on each other and make noise. She is also a nonsmoker car as well. The reason is was traded in was because when they would start it, it would idle high and accelerate a little rough when cold. When warm it would flood upon restarting. The first thing I noticed when I test drove it was that the temp gauge was at the halfway point and it had not been running for over 2 minutes. So...after I paid for her, I made a trip to the local Saturn dealer (drooled over a few cars) and purchased a new ECTS and connector. Well, she now runs like she only has 20,000 miles on her! I did the compression test and all is good. The previous owner had done all the maintenance at the local Saturn dealer, so I have all the records.

Sorry to be long winded, but I am just glad that such a pristine car did not fall into the wrong hands!

Sounds like you got a really good deal. As for the exterior from the pictures it looks like it was very well taken care of. Congrats! I may be looking to add to my fleet as well soon since they are such great cars.
