Default replacing what saturnparts calls "Belt w strip"

I need to scavange what in the attached photo is item 9, saturnparts.net calls it "Belt w strip" i have a doner car but dont want to start ripping apart and ruining the good parts, any thoughts on how to remove and reinstall.

Pry up at one end carefully. Then keep sliding whatever you are prying with down and pry up gently. It should come off without having to kill it.

I pry the end of it up with a screwdriver then yank it out. I've probably done it 50 times on several different S-Series. I have yet to damage one. Even when I'm at the junkyard and dont care. I cant seem to break one.
