I trust pretty much all makes and models. As long as the maintenance of the vehicle is taken care of on a routine basis.
If you don't take care of your vehicle, it will inevitably break down. It has nothing to do with the make and model.

Trust as far as what? reliability? service? honesty in the sale? standing by their product??

there are many different brands that I'd go w/ depending on those questions...

When I said "Which brand you trust", it means : Reliability, etc...

The question is not "Which brand you like the most"

i assume that trust = reliability. in that case, i think all car makers are good. They have to be if they are going to compete these days. if you're asking about trusting a dealership or sales person.. um.. i don't trust anyone. :P

Trust no one

I don't know why, but the X-file popped in my head because of that.

Anyway, Buick wasn't listed, so I picked Saturn. I've learned not to trust Pontiac to much, or for too long. Chevy does good, especially trucks. Ford I wouldn't trust as far as I can throw an F-150. Saturn has been good to me thus far, so I picked it.

I've owned Saturn and Ford, the Saturn's have treated me far better than the Ford's did, so I picked Saturn. Mind you I've seen my dad's cars and my brothers... still say Saturn is the best of them all. Like it's been said, all depends on the maintenence.

Going by my family's experiences I'd have to say;
Trust Toyota for a car that has very little problems in it's early life.
Trust Volvo for a car that's durable and still drives well after many years and miles.
Trust Chevrolet for a truck that can haul and tow for many years.

I definitely think the materials quality and the design of a Civic is better than my ION. The assembly quality of the ION is pretty decent IMO. Nothing's fallen off or rattled yet.

Interesting that two Koreans make the list but Nissan does not. What about Cadillac, Buick, and GMC? I was going to vote for Kia for a joke but it's a public poll and that would be too embarassing.

I've owned Saturn, Mazda, Pontiac and have been treated nicely by all, especially at my Saturn dealer. was not treated nicely by Chrysler at all (sales or service).

If you're talking trust as in reliability etc like you mentioned, I'd trust them all to a certain degree. I think manufacturing is at the point where you're just as likely to get a POS from anyone, it's how they treat you during the process when you get a bad one.

I'd say I definitely don't trust the Mitsubishi dealer I tested an Eclipse at. they just seemed like shysters.

All dealers are far down the trust scale for me. I'd rather deal directly with the factory, even if it meant less service centers. Porsche tried to do it once but the dealers screamed bloody murder.
