2003 VUE 3.0L
Default IP/Speedometer Cluster fuse keeps going out

I have a 2003 Vue V6 3.0L, and the IP/speedometer cluster lights went out on one side. When I replace the lights the 10 amp fuse blows within seconds of me turning the dash lights on (when I used LED lights they stayed on for a couple of minutes but the fuse still went out). If I keep the lights out of the right side of the IP/speedometer cluster the fuse doesn't blow but I don't have dash lights on one side at night. I'm just guessing, but don't know, that maybe the problem is the IP/speedometer cluster is bad. Is there a way to know for sure if it's causing the problem?
