Miscellaneous aftermod ?

1995 SC1 SOHC 5-spd

I just changed out the stock intake with a cold-air type intake. Rather then remove the air sensor (or leave it dangling) I threaded it into an aerated section of the frame. Seems to run fine, but I am wondering if this is going to have an effect on the computer or other sensors?

Any information will be absorbed....then misplaced for later use.

Should be okay but for best results it should be in the stream of the intake air. I would drill a hole in the intake and get a rubber grommet that fits and shove the sensor in there.
