I just changed out the stock intake with a cold-air type intake. Rather then remove the air sensor (or leave it dangling) I threaded it into an aerated section of the frame. Seems to run fine, but I am wondering if this is going to have an effect on the computer or other sensors? Any information will be absorbed....then misplaced for later use. |

Should be okay but for best results it should be in the stream of the intake air. I would drill a hole in the intake and get a rubber grommet that fits and shove the sensor in there.
