As much as I like LEDs, why is this such a popular mod? My original 14 year old light bulb is still burning strong...

On the 96.

Swapped in the radiator from my 99 when I ko'ed the motor on roadway debris, thought it got it too, but when I took it out it was still good so I saved it for the 96, it only has 68k on it. The one in the 96 made it to just shy of 160k miles lol

Also drained the tranny fluid, did the oil change, checked the plugs, replaced the pcv line that crumbled in my hand, replaced the air filter, got the nail out of the rear tire and plugged it.

Cleaned all her crap out of, good lord with the kids its insane...................

Car wouldn't start this morning. Found it to be the positive battery cable with poor contact at terminal. Cleaned it and car started. While I had the hood up, I sprayed the throttle intake with cleaner and also added half quart of oil. Visually checked whatevers and drove to shopping mall and back. Car runs great.

Just drove for pleasure. Stopped at Kmart and got a pair of Silver series Valvoline wiper blades. I decided on 21 inch driver side and 18 inch passenger side to save money LOL total price: $6.50

I have owned this Saturn for almost 5 years now, longer than normal for me. My usual strategy is drive until before major problems and sell for cheap and move on. But I'm attached to this one. Since I joined this site I have been taking very good care of her. I started using synthetics and done a good bit of maintenance this year and it is paying off with awesome highway fuel economy. On one highway run I averaged 45 miles per gallon. I swear lately my engine sounds more like some kind of space age power module. Thanks for all the great info and encouragement!

Successfully installed new Transmission Output CV Shaft Seals with minimal damage done to the aluminum or bearings(slight dent on the driver side bearing, thankfully not on a contact surface). Though it took a total of 4 seals, 2 of each xP

Over the weekend I finally did some cleaning on the SL1. I decided to keep it so my daughter can learn to drive a manual car first, then move her on to an auto. After that, I'm not sure how long I'll keep it around.

For a 20 year old car the paint is in fairly good shape, but it shows the neglect of the past few years of not breaking out the polish or wax at all.

Replaced the headliner material with much help from Richpin's videos and posts on this site. I ordered the material off of ebay. The color matches nicely with the trim pieces. My headliner isn't the smoothest on the block but now it's clean and doesn't sag. My dome lights didn't pop open like Richpin's. Both broke. I now have two dome lights held in place with cable ties.

Also, on the grab handles in back, the covers open differently from the one in front. After breaking one of the covers on a back handle. I figured out how the covers open. Oh well, one handle may not go back.

I did the same thing to my dome light. Better option than paying $15 for a used one on ebay.
