Default 07 Saturn Ion 2 Sedan

For the past couple weeks my horn has been working on and off. I changed the fuses under the dash but then a few days ago it just completely quit working. A day later my cruise control stopped working. I also rechecked the fuses for both and they are good. Any suggestion to whatever cause this problem.

Also, my rear passenger window does not go down. Maybe that could be the motor inside the door to put it down or up. I'm unsure.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Might have to go wire hunting. The horn (at least on my 04) is under the left headlight, trace the wires and see if any are worn, you sound correct about the window though

All of these items are controlled by the BCM, you may have a failing BCM starting to rear it's ugly.

The BCM, are you just talking about wires or is there a specific device that controls all of these things?

Not wiring, the actual BCM itself. On the ION almost every electrical switch sends a signal to the BCM, which then sends a signal to activate the item. As a BCM starts failing items stop working or start acting out, ie. door locks will lock & unlock by themselves, horns will go off on their own, items will stop functioning or work intermittently, then all of a sudden nothing works when BCM finally fails.

Oh and also because I haven't noticed it too often, would the airbag and temperature gage be part of the BCM? My temperature works sometimes and my airbag light is on.

I think he said .........

So unless you are dealing with a salvage title car or a pooly reconstructed wreck.
