Default Wipers Won't Stop

I know this has probably has been asked before.

The wipers will not shut off using the switch. When they are on, I turn the switch back off and they don't stop. I have to pull the fuse to get them to stop.

I know it's not the wiper motor (because silly me I thought it was at first and I got a new one under warranty because the one that was on there was only 4 months old).

I am asking for guesses whether it could either be the multifunction switch (hoping it's not, watched the Richpin video and looks like a relatively big job), or the BCM, if the BCM is involved in the wipers at all.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

When you replaced the wiper motor, a wiper control module is nearby and runs the logic for the wiper motor. Check the connections for corrosion and clean as needed. It may be the park switch connection that isn't electrically conducting to signal the control board to shut off the wiper motor. And check for a good ground too.

Are you SURE that the wiper motor may not have gone bad?

Stranger things have happened, regardless if the replacement motor in there is only 4 months old.

I sincerely hope you didn't pay an arm and a leg for the replacement wiper motor, when you can pull one out of a JY car for dirt cheap ($35) and replace it yourself.... just saying.
