2002 L-Series 3.0L Wagon
Default New radiator drain plug L series

If you break or dmamge the red plastic radiator drain plug on your L sreies car/station wagon, you CANNOT get one from Saturn or GM without buying a complete new radiator. There is no salavage yard where I live in West Texas that has any Saturns. Anyone know where I can find one?

hanks for your hepl.

Ok, last ditch attempt and to make it permanent as you can always pull the lower radiator hose off for draining; drain the radiator completely and ensure the petcock is removed to wipe it and the drain fitting dry to allow silicone sealant or epoxy. Choose whatever you like as you use the petcock to help seal the fitting permanently. Use something like Liquid Steel, a two-part epoxy (requires at least 12hrs to cure) to seal it permanently or those 5-minute epoxies if you don't want to wait. There's always a way to seal the petcock off if you use some imagination.
