Default Advice for new Saturn L200 Owner

Hello everyone. I live in NYC and will become a new Saturn L200 owner in about a week, around April 28.
Any advice, comments or suggestions about the buying process, final delivery and pick up is appreciated.
I am getting my L200 from the Long Island City dealer on Northern Boulevard.
I know I and any other future Saturn buyers would like to know anything, good or bad that could make this experience something worthwhile.

I look forward to sharing this experience in the future.

Thanks so much.

Peace NewYork

From an ex NYC resident and now NC Bubba, welcome to the family.

You should get a full explanation of your car's features along with a full tank of gas. My dealer does the traditional send off with song to new owners. Don't know if NYC customers would consider this "uncool".

One thing to remember. As Mayor Koch used to say "God forbid you should have a problem with your new car". If you do, remember you have 30 days / 1,500 miles for an exchange or return for any, or no, reason. Should you get a rare problem vehicle, don't let your return period expire being jerked around with repair attempts.

Any problems should be able to be fixed quickly & correctly.

So much for the bad. Now the good. The Ecotec 4 in your L200 is one of the smoothest 4's around IMHO. Combine it with either the 5 speed (from Saab) or the GM automatic, and it should serve you well.

As they say in NYC -- Mazel Tov (good fortune be on you)

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

That sounds nice, but, being NYC, I would be happy to get out the door without getting kicked in the groin :o: and without too many dealer fees.

Good luck with the car!
