Default New Owner of 2002 Saturn L100

This was my mothers car a few months ago
and she wanted to sell it but i was not interested
then she gave me an offer that i couldnt refuse (3,000)
because i needed a 4 door car (baby)

anyway at first i did not even want this car
but it has really grown on me over the past few months
i love the way it drives/handles on the road
it is like an extension of my body
So now my main thing is hooking this car up how i like it
I switched out my black radio/ac housing for woodgrain
i bought blue neons for under the dash near the feet
I went to get it installed to an extra oem fog light switch
and was quoted $250 for the install
crazy
Now i am determined to do it myself
with a custom switch
like this guys:
other things i plan to update are...
woodgrain dash kit
saturn vue 2004 speedometer swap
HID fog lights hooked up to OEM switch
2 DVD tv's in the headrests
Viper Alarm
Double Din Navi/DVD/CD player
Upgrade Speakers (no sub i like crisp sound not heavy bass)
Upgrade cloth seats to leather
Possibly upgrade Side mirrors to Power Mirrors

anyway i know this forum is not as active as it once was but as a new saturn L series owner i just wanted to say hello and get involved in this forum and i will take plenty of pics of all my upgrades to post here,
-Tom

Best of luck with your L100 - defintely a great car. I miss my L100. Is yours the Special Edition model with alloys and power accessories? They were probably the best deal going when they came out in late 01. $17,995 or something like that - brand new!

On mine, I replaced the black radio/AC bezel with a chrome one from an 03+ L and it added a touch of class. Made it unique. I'm sure the woodgrain looks great as well.

Again, best of luck with it. Treat it well, and it will treat you well, plus give you excellent gas mileage to boot. I usually managed 34 MPG highway, which is pretty good for a midsize car, IMHO. Enjoy!
