Default Motor Trouble

I POSTED A THREAD 2 WEEKS AGO AND GO ALOT OF HELP THANK YOU..
BUT THAT I GUESS WAS NOT THE END OF IT. I PUT A NEW BATTERY IN AND THAT SOLVED MY ELECTRICAL ISSUES. THE CAR WAS JUST TURNING OVER AND THAT WAS IT. SO I HAD MY MECHANIC FRIEND LOOK AT IT AND HE CHECKED THE SPARK AND THE FUEL. PLENTY OF BOTH. SO HE PERFORMED A COMPRESSION CHECK AND TURNS OUT I HAVE ONLY 40 LBS. IN EVERY CYLINDER. I FOUND THAT ODD BECAUSE BEFORE THE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS
IT HAD PLENTY OF GO.... HE CHECKED HIS ONLINE FORUM AND THEY SAID THAT THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY A SENSOR AND THAT IT HAD BEEN FAULTY FOR SOME TIME. SLOWLY WARPING MY PISTONS AND CAUSING LOST COMPRESSION. I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU HAVE HEARD OF THIS KIND OF THING BEFORE. ALSO IF ANYONE CAN DIRECT ME TO THE LEAST EXPENSIVE RE-BUILT MOTOR COMPANY. THE PRICES THAT I HAVE SEEN ARE CRAZY $1600.00 $2600.00 THANKS

Do the compression test yourself and see how much you get?

I never really heard of that. I would go get a second opinion or check the compression again.

We are rebuilding a motor for a customer off TSN, its comin to about $1200 with some goodies. We could do it again... IF your intrested PM or email me.

Ditto.

About the only thing even remotely close to that description would be overheating the engine and warping the block or cylinder head.

If you do have a bum engine, you may want to consider getting a used engine from a automotive recycler rather than a rebuilt.
