Default Death of a Saturn

It is with great sadness that I have to announce that a great car has met it's end.

The 1995 SL-2 we purchased NEW from Saturn of Memphis was totaled in an accident a couple of weeks ago. It was just 4000 miles short of 300,000 reliable, fun miles.

My wife was driving the car, she was not injured. The Saturn lived up to it's reputation of protecting the occupants. It took a pretty massive hit on the passenger side pushing her head on into a large steel pole holding up the traffic lights.

As Wolfman's signature lines says, Old Saturns never die, people kill them.

We have a line on a 1996 SL-2 with under 200K miles on it to replace it.

1999 SC-2 280,000 miles -mine now also dead, RIP
1995 SL-2 296,000 miles - my wifes totaled, RIP
1993 Chevrolet S-10 Pick-up - mine
2003 Harley Davidson Low Rider - mine

Good to know nobody was hurt. The idiot better have to pay for everything.

Rest in piece, to another high quality automobile that saved their occupant's life.

Sorry to hear of your loss, but metal and plastic can be replaced, as much as it sucks to do so.
At least you get to look forward to picking out a new one, eh?

Be sure and really search for dealerships around your area for the 'value' of your car... I hope that you get real compensation and not some lowball number tossed at you like I did.
