Default ecm reflash?

I am getting ready to take my car in to reflash the ecm for adding cruise. I read about some problems that came up using TSI-WEB? What is the difference between that and the DISK based method?

Can you just download the car's factory ecm to a tech2, update it on the computer(check yes to cruise control option), and upload tech2 to the car?

You're obviously more knowledgeable than I am. You'll have to wait for ssicarman or squareback to get a real answer. However, the problems I've seen posted on here with regard to reprogramming a PCM for cruise control seem to be limited to OBD 1 years. Hopefully that helps.

Barnowl,
Thanks for the info. Hopefully the other guys will chime in....

My chevy dealer (friend is a tech there) will be doing the reflash for me.(almost $20 cheaper than the Saturn stealer and 25 miles closer to me) I just want to clear up any possible problems as he has never done a Saturn before!

RC1488,
Give your autoshop a Tech2? Wow that would be great!! Those things cost like $5000 last time I checked.
