2007 VUE 3.6L
Dizzy 2007 Saturn Vue Door locks keep "locking"

First thing that happened is I couldn't lock my doors with the switches, driver and passenger sides, I can still use the switches to unlock the doors. Then, every once in a while my XM Radio would not work. Yesterday while driving my locks would start "locking themselves". You could hear it. Even when parked and no key in the ignition, it keeps doing it. I tried replacing the fuse that says LOCK/MIRROR, that didn't fix it, although with that fuse out, it does not keep trying to lock itself, unfortunately though, my XM Radio doesn't work with it out either. I pulled out the Relay that says DR LCK and it still did it. (with the fuse in) I also tried unhooking the battery for an hour to "reset the BCM", that didn't work. I can still lock and unlock the doors with the key fob with no issue. Any suggestions? I am currently thinking it is a wire, probably the one where the door opens?

BCM controls lock and unlock by responding to commands from door switches, keyless entry fob and transmission gear selector.

If lock / unlock function are normal with fob or shifting from PARK IMO one of door lock switches is 90% probable cause.

I'd give a bad wire or internal BCM problem about 5% each.

PM email address if you'd like some procedures to depanel door and test and replace switches.

Yes, the lock / unlock functions are normal with the fob and shifting from PARK. I sent you a PM, thank you.

I had similar door lock issue couple years back while driving. I found the battery in remote leaking. After changing battery it stopped. However mine is 2005 model and no OnStar, my 2 cents.

Pn my 2006 Vue the locks going funky was one of the signs my sunroof had starting leaking. Water would get into the electrics and the locks would go funky. When it was really bad the alarm system would do what it wanted.
