Default Trailer Hitch Help

Maybe someone would kindly point me in the right direction. I've used search and all on how to install a trailer hitch on a 2000 Saturn SL1 but no luck.
I purchased a Draw-Tite 24620, I hope that is the correct model as well.

I have never installed a hitch before, so I could use some guidance. I have lots of tools to support the job as well, unless there is some special tools that I may be unaware of that may be needed. I hope there is a step by step process and pictures to go with it, if not I will try to create my first write up on it.

thank you again.

I literally just installed my U-haul/curt hitch today. And I didn't take any during pictures.

It says to drill 9/16 hole, I used under a 1/2 inch.

It is pretty easy.

You just hold the hitch up to the base of the trunk, mark the holes, and drill them out!
It might be helpful to use a couple of jack stands or floor jacks to hold the hitch up and make sure everything is straight and square before you mark your holes.

This is a pretty simple hitch installation, but you'll see why this setup can only haul 1000 lbs!

Sir

In the box is there a note on a sheet of paper ( aka instructions ) or sticker label that says to
add a stiffer set of rear springs ?

****
The Rear Springs that are with Station Wagon's all have the same "Ride Height" as Sedan"s.

Because of the possible heavier loads Station Wagon's may be used for their rear springs have a
stiffer/ stronger ability.

At a pick & pull you may aquire just The Station Wagon Rear Springs and then swap out your Rear
Spring to The Station Wagon Springs on your Rear Struts ( no special tools are needed ). After you
have finished look in the local paper for a Coupon so that you can get a dis-counted alignment.
****

The supplied Spec's Sheet states you may have a Max Trailer Tongue Weight up to 200 pounds.
Knowing very few user's weigh this part or know how to do this correctly and because of many
other factors such as "close enough guessing" the 200 pound advise is a lower than a true spec's limit.

As you stand back 10 yards and look at your Car and Trailer Loaded it
should all be straight from the very front of the car to the rear of the trailer.
If there is a "V" you have to much weight on The Tongue.

If The Tongue is in any way higher than the rear of The Trailer it will start
"wiggling and wagging" as early as 25 MPH.
