1999 SW1
Default 99 SW1 Tailgate rattle

Hi! The tailgate of the wagon makes several rattling noises when idling or driving. The four rubber pieces that should damp any vibrations seem to be softened by age. Is there any chance of finding replacements? Haven't had any luck online. a few places that I've seen mentioned here are no longer online at all.

Thanks in advance!

If I can't find the actual parts to fix it, I have some high-density foam that I can put in at the trouble spots but either way, this rattle must be silenced! The car has so many rattles that I need to silence them one at a time, so I can locate the next one. Probably need to replace that upper engine mount also. But doing that first might mask other vibrations/rattles and make them harder to find and fix.

I don't have a wagon, so I am talking about thinks I know nothing about

But is it possible to shim those rubber pieces, or glue a rubber/foam piece on the opposite surface?
