Default Relay van warning dinger sounds all the time.

2005 Relay. The seatbelt or 'key in ignition' warning dinger sounds whenever vehicle is in reverse or drive. No dinger when shifter is in park. No warning lights on the dash. Any ideas????? This is driving me nuts!!!

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Wow thatís a good one. Iím assuming not backup sensor. Some had that some didnít. Does it also do it in neutral? Seatbelt light not on? Does seatbelt light work?

What is the condition of the Battery in your Van?

If it is older then 5 years old, it may start to do strange stuff from an electric standpoint.

We have a 2007 Chevy Uplander, which is a clone of the Relay/Terraza/Montana. We had to replace the battery after getting the trans rebuilt.

The battery is not difficult to replace- but is a bit cumbersome if you have to replace- as there is a large sway bar that is over the battery, held in with 13MM bolts, as well as a bolt down that is on the back side of the battery that is also a 13MM bolt. You also have to undo the 10MM bolts that hold the Fuse box in place, in order to get to the Battery.

Hope this helps.
