Default DEPRESSED Aura owners ???

I notice very very few Aura owners are posting lately since we got the sad news. We can still post our information and thoughts, don't give up the ship !
This site brings a lot of good info and enjoyment to the readers
and probably some lasting friendships

I am still happy with my Aura!

I have been very busy, and don't have much time for the forums lately. Also, there hasn't been much to talk about, or so it seems.

I LOVE my 07 Aura XR, my local Saturn dealer and my service advisor.

I actually like my 07 Aura more now than before because the closing of the Saturn dealers in my town drove me to a Chevy dealer to attempt to resolve ongoing problems the Saturn dealers were never able to fix. The Chevy dealer had them fixed in one visit. I'm looking forward to driving it without all the rattles and clunks from the sunroof, the steering, and the suspension.

Isn't it silly to be mad at the new GM when the old GM decided over a year ago to dump Saturn, Hummer, and SAAB? I love(d) all 3 of the Saturns I have owned, but lets face it, Saturn was never a money maker for GM.

I bought a Pontiac G8 GT earlier this year after finding out the Pontiac was going to be no more. My wife got our Saturn when they were still going to be bought by Penske. But I'm not too worried that Saturn isn't going to be around. They still make the Malibu so the parts are there, and the Chevy dealers will still be there. I more worried about parts availability for the G8 than the Aura.

Are we able to take our Saturns to a GM dealer for warranty work or do we have to wait for the Saturn dealers to officially close their doors? The closet GM dealer is only 15 miles away, while the closet Saturn dealer where we bought our car, is 80 miles away. Would sure be nice to be able to take it to our GM dealer!
