2001 L-Series 2.2L Wagon
Default intermittent starting problem

Ok lets see if I can explain this clearly. Have a 2001 LW1 (4cyl) have 190,000km. Every once in a while it refuses to start the first turn of they key. It shows no sign of firing, just cranks over. I have realized that if I wait sometimes 5 minutes or 10 it will start the next time I turn the key. Its rather frustrating especially when you are hoping to get in and go! I've cleaned the throttle body too. It almost seems like its not getting fuel or a spark.
There are no service lights coming on once it does finally start and I have plugged in a code reader and nothing comes up.
Any suggestions?
