Default Had To Part With My Saturns :(

Hey guys,

Last night was the night where I dreaded would come, I traded in both Saturn's, After the BCM went bad in the Wagon and I had to pay the Dealer to program it plus they told me the PCM according to the Tech II was starting to go, I couldn't justify replacing the engine computer on the Wagon to, The junkyard near me has downsized the GM section and Saturn's are very slim for picking, I will still be on here to help with problems and give my opinions for people because this site is such a close community of people and everyone seems like family and friends, I ended up trading them in for a Subaru Forester, With the winters getting worse and colder up north the AWD is getting to be a normal option for a car in my area. I want to thank all the experts on here that have helped me with my cars and have saved me a lot of time and money.

PCMs can be had by mail. Sorry that the electronics failure bugs got to you so bad.

I just don't have the tools to program pcm,s and bcm,s together and I know when these start having problems I'm at the mercy of the dealer to marry and program them, the passlock relearn didn't work and I had a lot of lights on the dash until they programmed it to the car, another issue was the rke remote would not program to the new bcm for some reason.

The gen-3 electronics is all part of the auto makers' grand design to keep the DIY and aftermarket out of the electronics and insure you will be buying another couple of cars in your lifetime.

The only tool you need to program it is the key to your car and maybe a battery pack to make sure yours doesn't die during it.

The BCM/PCM relearn is really, really, really, really easy. I hope you didn't already get rid of them.
