I give up! I can't find that sucker. I've looked all along the bottom of the radiator, but can't find the drain plug. Is it a screw plug, bolt plug or a petcock? And where is it? THANK YOU for any help, I'm really embarrassed I can't find it...

should be the face of the radiator on the engine side on one of the end caps near the bottom. if not pull the hose.

I was confused b the "LS1" designation as this doesn't seem to be a valid model. The '00 L200 is and the drain is as described with an additional 3/8in dia. hose to attach for draining into a container. Is this picture helpful?

![]() I think that picture helps. I think I remember seeing something like that on the passenger's side of the radiator, it looked to be a red cap where that picture describes the hose attaching. So I'm thinking you unscrew the cap, attach the hose, then turn the release with a slotted screwdriver... I think. I'll have to try that when I get home in a few hours, I'll let you know. |
