07 ion 2 4dr sedan driver power window

Hello!

My 2007 ions driver side window will not go up! It goes down but cannot go any higher. This problem has been going on for a few years, before if I pressed on it on an angle, it would go up. Later it wouldn't go up unless I turned the car on and held the button at the same time.

It's the only window that does this, the passenger windows all work perfectly. A
Side note is that the lock button on the driver side doesn't work either and neither does the power window when switched to the driver side.

I'm just wondering if it's the regulator or the switch.

Try wiggling the rubber boot that runs through the fender area into the door. This is where all of the wires run though and sometimes they fray. You may just have to fix a wire there.
