Dizzy Mods Anyone?

So, as most of you know, I'm fairly new!
I have done the quad-beam headlight mod, disabled my DRLs, and installed a manual radiator fan switch. Anyone have any ideas for interior mods?
By the way, hello all!
Oh, my Satty.

You got any talent and attention to detail?

Patience?

Then you can do things like custom shift-boots, custom trim, carpet, headliner, seats, gauges, stereo, steering wheel, racing seats and belts, the works.

If you don't then just put in a couple lights in and call it a day.

Also, if you're looking to spend money then your imagination is the limit. Check out CARDOMAIN.com for some good ideas.

I'm converting all my interior incandescent lights to leds (gauge cluster, dome light, A/C controls). you should make all your cloth interior vinyl, a color that will match well with the blue on your car, i would suggest grey. Racing seats would be nice. shortened shift knob if you are into the short shifting stuff. aluminum racing pedals and shift knob look spiffy. I changed my black gauge faces to white electroluminescent gauge faces and then i painted my needles red. As far as audio and video, maybe two 10" subwoofers in your trunk, customize it so it is flush with the walls. GPS kicks ass, get one if you drive a lot. get dark tint too!

I know this will sound strange, but I'm not really into my car booming down the road; however, I did see something that would be cool along the lines of a sub. I saw somewhere that someone had cut out a hole in the center of the rear shelf and mounted a single sub there. That would be a cool project. And it would clear up some trunk space!

And, my girlfriend is getting me a gps for my birthday! I was thinking of doing something along the lines of permanently installing it somewhere like the cup holder. I dunno, get some poly-resin and pouring it in the cup holder to permanently mount the suction cup thing in there. I dunno. I haven't really thought of it. I just don't want to mount it where everyone else does because the windshield on Saturn's are so far away for a guy that's 6"2'! Any ideas?

depending on how big the gps is (they come in alot of sizes) you could always pop out one of the vents and put it in there, wouldnt look to bad and it would be within your reach and view

I'm actually getting the Nuvi 350.
It's fairly compact.
How, exactly, would I do that? Just set it in there? I mean, I want it to look good, not tacky and ghetto!

Doesn't matter were you mount the GPS. If it looks slick, it's ricey. Stick it to the windshield, it looks good because it's there for function, not loooks.

well the dimesnsions of your GPS is 98.3x73.9x22.1. below is an idea one guy came up with for a satellite radio, but it isn't "in" the dash like you prefer it. there really isn't a lot of room unless you got rid of your radio.

i would beg to differ. if it looks slick, its rice? how'd you come to that conclusion? it means you take the time to mount it properly, out of your field of vision, where it looks better anyway cuz its more, ah, custom...

If i could build a rig to put gauges in the glove box, I would. I think it'd be really sleeper to have A/f gauges etc in the glove box hidden till you choose to expose them.
