Default Did you buy a 2003 Saturn L , VUE, or ION and want another 03 Saturn instead?

As I purchased my 2003 L300 4 months ago, I have nearly 5,000 miles on the odometer and can't complain other than my automatic transmission sometimes clunks into gear (which my retailer couldn't duplicate) but I digress.

I myself felt at the time that this was the quietest, best put together car Saturn had to offer, and still do (IMHO). I have thought recently how much more useful a VUE would have been to me and am considering making the switch.

If you bought a 2003 Saturn model, which model did you buy? and if you have thought of trading it for another 03' Saturn model, which one this time and why?

If it were within the first 30 days & mileage limit, I'd go for a VUE.

You know, if I had a car like that, and I needed something better, I'd trade it in. If the VUE fits your needs, go for it!! You'll be much happier in the lon g run, esp. if its more practical for you.

I'd buy an ION wagon. OH, I forgot they don't make those, YET!

In reality either a QC or a VUE

I am not really sure if I could part with my Ion Sedan. It's my baby. But if I had too, I would possibly look into the Ion QC. I think they are pretty sporty looking and it would have to have all the options I have on my car now.

I went for the VUE, and wouldn't change my decision at all. I'll start saving up for the Hybrid VUE in 2005 (I think).

My Vue suits me perfect. Just the right amount of family space and love the smooth VTI and it's decent gas mileage.
I can't wait to give the AWD a work out.
The perfect all around vehicle for us.

I really love my L200. In what ways would the Vue be more useful to you?

I, too, have thought about switching to a VUE, but it really wouldn't be a substitute for what I really need - a pickup truck. I wish that Saturn sold a pickup truck.

If I could get it serviced at my Saturn dealership, I would get a GMC...

As I post in other threads, I wish they offered the manual transmission with the v6. Not to say that my 4cyl isn't useful enough though. Maybe AWD?

You can buy a used car at Saturn and have it serviced there right? When I'm getting my car serviced, I occasionally see cars there getting service other than Saturn.

Don't trade it in. Live with your decision, or your gonna take a bath on the trade value. Just a reality of the marketplace. Consider this a lesson learned, and remeber the reasons why you chose what you did when you did it! Good luck!

I'd wait another year or so for the ION Red Line.

Unless you buy in all cash, there will be no equity in trading an '03 for another '03 Saturn. Resale value will also conspire in a financial hit because with most opting for a new set of wheels at outrageously low finance rates, the used car market is in a serious slump.

I wanted an ION3 QC, but bought a sedan because the coupes weren't going to arrive at my dealer in time. I would still like to have the rear suicide doors for the cargo versatility benefits, but none-the-less, I would not trade my baby for another.
I was once told that I should make sure never to get attached to a car - well, it didn't take long.

I bought a 2003 V6 AWD Vue and wouldn't trade it for any other 2003. But sometimes, on neat, winding back roads, I REALLY wish I still had my 97 SW2 (manual). What I really wanted was a SW2 AWD, manual, of course, but I guess I can only dream.

I went for a black 2003 Ion3 Quad Coupe. Wouldn't trade it for another Saturn! I love it! But I _have_ been eyeing other sporty cars on the road and often think to myself, "I could have had that one instead!"

But it's like getting married. You look at the choices, make your decision, and then you stick with it.

I bought a black 2003 Ion3 QC. It is my first new car, and my first Saturn. I have had it over a month. I am having black leather interior installed, springs, and the titanium muffler.
But now, of course, I want the Red Line QC instead.
I guess this is part of being a new car / Saturn owner.
Greedy yes, but having the time of my life.
