Default DRL and Interior lights not going off

I've taken on a 1995 Saturn SL2 as a project car. It runs pretty well overall but it does have several issues which I'll be asking about.

The first issue is that when the headlight dial is set to "Auto", the daytime running lights and instrument panel lights never turn off. I've let it sit for about an hour without them turning off after turning off the engine. If I turn the dial to "Off", they do go off with no problem. Any ideas?

p.s. I tried using the "Search SaturnFans.com" box, but it returns a "Loading results" page and never goes any further.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

I don't recall that the S-series had an auto light feature in 95. Off, Park lights and headlights but not auto.

Oh boy do I feel foolish. You are absolutely right. Nevermind, working as intended.
