What would cause the turn signals not to make the "click, click" sound when they're on, and the "dinging" noise not to happen when you open the door with key in ignition? Just started happening today...?

you need a new instrument panel, unless you can manage to replace the little speaker on the back of it, assuming it's just the speaker.

That doesn't sound like it's even worth doing.

Here I would have suggested checking looking at some power fuses first... just in case the "clicking/dinging" was actually controlled by the same or separate circuits that for some reason blew a fuse(s).
I'm thinking of my Key Fob/Power Locks that went "silent"/didn't work but my outside lights would flash when I pressed the Fob. Replaced a blown 15amp fuse and function restored. |
