"thanks hoovies garage" for showing me that car..
this is a completely affordable option is a v6 so the block is a little shorter then our dohc has any body done a motor and trany swap like this ? if so how do i do it> right down the the last detail please..

if this offends i am sorry.. see im really a ford lover . but my wife had this car and we had a family the 68 mustang had to go we kept the saturn .. now its my drive to work car.. ... and how i miss the mustang.. so i cant afford the mustang is now really expensive but! this would do the trick

It's been almost done a bunch of times but never finished AFAIK

LS4 seems more worth doing since you'll have to custom fab anyhow

If since you say "so i cant afford the mustang is now really expensive", I'd bet you would find that this conversion will really do a number to your finances as well as time invested and absolutely do great damage to the great gas mileage your family enjoys with the stock Saturn engine. (sorry for the horrid run-on sentence structure but I'm tuckered out from rototilling a 1/4 acre new garden space today).

Hell, I've got a 500hp LS3 and a built trans just sitting in the garage right now for that reason. The S10 Blazer it's destined to go in still runs good after 220k miles, so I just haven't put it down and started taring it apart yet, and I know it's going to cost me another grand at least just to get started on the swap, probably double that before it's a polished and reliable install...

...
98 SL2, 70k miles, kept in the family since new!

Her name is Uranus :)
