We were working on a 2000 sl2 the other day in the shop, and I noticed a ground strap bolted from the upper mount to the pass.
side strut tower. Was this done to improve ground path on the chassis. Just curious if anyone has any insight as this is missing from my 98 sl1. ![]() ![]() |

All cars should have a ground strap from the engine to the frame somewhere. Saturn may have moved it from '98 to 2k models.

The ground strap was added to cut down electrical noise in the radio
